tyreAPI is a marketing and informational website about our API products for the tyre industry. It describes our services, answers common questions, and lets you request a demo or get in touch.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. When you first visit, a cookie consent modal lets you Accept all, Reject all, or toggle Functional and Analytics categories and Save. You can change your choice later via “Cookie settings” in the footer. We group cookies as follows:

• Necessary — required for the site to work and to store your cookie preference. These stay active even if you reject optional cookies.
• Functional — support preferences and enhanced features. You can enable these with Accept all or by toggling and Save. We do not currently set additional third-party functional cookies beyond what is needed to remember your choice.
• Analytics — help us understand how the site is used. Enabled only when you turn Analytics on (Accept all, or toggle and Save). The analytics tool in use today is Google Analytics 4 (see below).

Reject all keeps necessary cookies only. Accept all enables necessary, functional, and analytics. Save applies the categories you selected with the switches.

When analytics cookies are enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 (gtag.js) with measurement ID G-YS6KHCNDEZ. Google acts as a processor on our behalf for aggregated usage statistics.

Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Analytics storage remains denied until you enable Analytics. Advertising-related consent signals stay denied; we do not use Google Analytics for ads or remarketing on this site.

What may be processed after you accept analytics:

• Page URLs and titles you view, and how you navigate the site
• Approximate location (country/region derived from IP; GA4 does not store full IP addresses by default)
• Device and browser information (e.g. browser type, screen size, language)
• Referral source (how you arrived at the site)
• Basic engagement events (e.g. page views, session duration)
• A client identifier stored in cookies such as _ga and _ga_* so returning visits can be distinguished in reports

Purpose: understand traffic and improve the website and product messaging. We do not use this data to sell personal information.

How to withdraw consent: open “Cookie settings” in the footer, turn Analytics off and Save (or choose Reject all), clear site data in your browser, or use browser controls that block analytics cookies. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Google may process Analytics data on servers outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, Google relies on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses and additional measures described in Google’s privacy and data processing terms for Measurement / Google Analytics.

You can review Google’s commitments at https://business.safety.google/privacy/ and Google’s Analytics help documentation. We configure the GA4 property with EU-oriented settings where available (including Consent Mode signals from this site).

Our contact / demo form may collect: first name, last name, company name, job title, work email, phone number (optional), products of interest, and a free-text message.

This data is collected via email only. We use it to respond to your enquiry or demo request. We do not store form submissions in a separate CRM or marketing database as part of this website flow.

Legal basis for this processing is typically steps prior to entering a contract and/or our legitimate interests in responding to B2B enquiries. Enquiry emails are kept only as long as needed to follow up and manage the conversation, then deleted or archived according to our normal business email practices.

Google Analytics event and user-level data are retained according to the retention period configured in our GA4 property Admin settings (commonly 2 or 14 months). We review that setting periodically.

Your cookie preference (including which categories were enabled) is stored in your browser’s localStorage under the key tyreapi-cookie-consent so we can remember your choice.

Contact / demo form details received by email are kept only as long as needed to respond and manage the business relationship, then deleted or anonymised in line with our normal email practices.

If you are in the EEA/UK (or otherwise entitled under applicable law), you may have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Rectify inaccurate data
• Erase data in certain circumstances
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (e.g. analytics cookies)

To exercise rights related to data we control, contact us using the details in section 1. For data held only in Google Analytics reports, we will assist where reasonably possible given the aggregated nature of Analytics data.

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices or tools change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do.
